Sunday 18 December - St-Eustache Choir

We went to Barbes-Rochechouart and walked down Poissonniers to Montorgueuil.

We had lunch at Aux Tonneaux des Halles.  The food was very good and the service was excellent, one young woman was doing everything, seating people, taking orders, serving, clearing up and taking money.
We shared a grilled Camembert

Pork a la normandais

Confit de danard
There was time to spare before the concert at St-Eustache.

The Lego store at Les Halles drew a great crowd, both young and old

There were two concerts at St-Eustache.  The first was a choral concert.  The choir sang a cappella and was very good.  They concluded with a number of carols including Ding Dong Merrily on High

The least said about the organ concert the better.  The choice of pieces (I won't call them music) was disgusting.  It sounded like a monkey running up and down the keyboard.
